OUR FAMILY HERITAGE
Having Italian heritage, gelato has always been a cherished part of our family life.
I fondly recall my father recounting tales of sneaking into his grandparents' home at 7 AM to relish a fresh scoop of their first batch of gelato for the day... and he still has all his teeth!
Gelato represents more than simply ice cream; it embodies a way of life. I take great joy in sharing both traditional and contemporary flavours with guests at the beach hut, as well as at events and weddings.

I'm all about celebrating my great-grandparents' legacy by sharing a delicious scoop of Italy with you.
My family’s story starts in the Molise region, while my husband’s roots are in Sardegna. These places have a rich gelato history that has been passed down through generations and I’m proud that Villaggio Gelato is now a part of this history.
After attending at the University of Gelato (yes, it's a real place!) I embraced a life-long dream to share gelato with the masses... and Villaggio Gelato was born.
At its heart, Villaggio Gelato is all about bringing those authentic Italian flavours to you, here in Scotland, with a touch of family love in every scoop!
